Well, 4th qualifiers for AWC. This time judge was Anna Schönenberger.
1st course. Agility. While course walk. there was 2 obvious moments where I would have problems. Slalom entry and tunnel exit after dog-walk. So for slalom I managed to blind and slalom entry was successful. I was very happy of that. After dog walk I did extra 3 steps towards the jump. That made me being late for the plan to blond cross after tunnel. Of course when Minnie entered the tunnel and I saw that Im only on the mid tunnel, I realised that I will not make it. But I still tried to make the blind...why? dont know. Of course I should have stayed behind an call her....but since I dint then she took the long jump instead. DSQ. The rest of the course went very smoothly. I actually was very happy with the run!
2nd course. Jumping. Difficult for us. Lots of obstacles very close with each other. Many sharp turns needed. I was not 100% sure of my plans. And in addition to that, Minnie was hyper at the start. Do it already sound like a receipt for a disaster :)? Well it was a disaster :). After third jump, she needed to turn. I failed to turn her. Was late did not call. So she too the most obvious jump. DSQ. Then my plan to blind cross again before the slalom (to block it and for her to take the jump) failed miserably. I tried unsuccessfully call her away, but nothing stops Minnie from going to slalom :D. Then I tried the planned thing but she too the extra jump just before slalom entry. Already when course walking this combo seemed too difficult for us. I didnt manage to solve this then, to know what I should do to survive this combo from tunnel to slalom. The next "impossible" combination was around the tyre. I was super confident that she will take the wall after tyre. And she did. I should have completely stop, or do a early blind cross. I did neither. So we had 2 moments that I knew I´m not able to do and 2 mistakes that I thought I will manage.
3rd course. Jumping. I was extra calm before the start with Minnie. She was focused. And miraculously everything worked..until obstacle no 17, where I got lost and pushed her to the wrong jump. While doing so I saw that the number of this jump is 20..I thought that this cant be right....and realised what did I do! We could have had a clean run on this....arhhh...that was frustrating. But Minnie worked to well!!

So the tryouts are finished for this year. The goal to participate, to get the feeling was done. I knew, of course that the courses will be too much for us (this year!), and I was anticipating all the disqualifications, so I was not disappointed at all. The opposite. I saw that I was getting better at course walking. Next year i will not plan to get all DSQ :D
