Lulu & Minnie

  With deep sadness we had to say goodbye to Orr on 1st of September 2022, we lost the 2.5 year long battle with cancer. It started with one eye (may 2020) and ended with the other eye, meanwhile taking over your brain and lungs... Orr, Orru, Orrukene! After we had your hopeless diagnosis in the last days of May, I asked to have more time, at least until the end of summer, I thought. I wanted to celebrate your birthday and give you some good times and mostly, give myself time to get used to the idea of you being gone. Although, you gave me exactly 1 summer, 3 months, an I thought that I was prepared for this, it was still very very hard to say goodbye. It still hurts... You were my teacher, my soulmate. You had the presence of an royalty. It is hard to overestimate your impact to my life. Rest in peace, my Orruke.   Tombstone of Orr

 In the middle of august i got an tattoo representing all my wheatens. Based on my own drawing that is based on their photos:

May ended with very bad news. In the last days of may Orr started to have seizures and we rushed him to the hospital, where it turned out that he has large tumours in his lungs and probably also in the brain (because of the seizures). He had lung x-rays done in December 2020 where no tumours were shown. This is 1.5 years later (all those round shapes should not be there): He spent 1 night and day in the hospital, where they managed to stabilize him and the seizures are under control with medicaments. All June he was getting used to the new pills and some days he might seemed to feel better while some days were very difficult. Fortunately, by the end of the  month he seemed to feel better.  

 We are back to competing! First we went with Orr and Lulu to unofficial rally-o competition in Lohkva in 22 May  LULU RK1 class, where Lulu got 99 points on the first course and 1st place! 96 points on the second class with 4th place.  I have to say that because it was unofficial competition then using treats was allowed and thats why we got very good results ;) ORR Orr participated in veteran class and he won both courses with 98 and 97 points.  Both Orr and Lulu had the best combined score (195 points) of all dogs in the competition! And there were a lot of prizes!!
