Week ago we went to our last agility competition of the year. It was held in Vastse-Kuuste and judge was Stefi Praakli. Grade 2
Videos form all courses:
1st jumping course: I thought that it was pretty good and manageable :). For the reasons unknown to me, Minnie came out from he slalom and took the jump that was next to it. Did I hesitate? I didnt think so... Anyhow, DSQ. Then My plans after didnt work at all. I was late to blindcross that lead to me giving the wrong command (simple left turn), and her taking a left turn anyway...Before the end there was a trap of wall after tunnel. I really wanted to see how it goes...I tried to call. But although she looked at me after tunnel, she still went for the wall :). Maybe too little information to her? Maybe I hesitate, didnt turn myself away enough..?
2nd jumping course: Here we were pretty smooth until the second tunnel. where in the exit I was late, and there was miscommunication about the direction of the turn. Because of that i had to wait for her and then being too late for the blind...showed with the wrong hand the turn and she took to left instead of right. Still so far just loosing a lot of time, because of the bad lines. Then we arrived to the same trap in the end of the course. Again the wall straight after the last tunnel. Again, I didnt managed to call her off :) DSQ.
1st agility course: Straight after first tunnel to slalom. DSQ. I´m pretty sure that I could have done more to prevent this but somehow I already thought that probably she has no problem to go to slalom..After that she again took the extra jump. Then we has a miscommunication with the turn command...I said right she did the left...and in the end of the course i was super late for blind cross.
2nd agility course: this course was more suitable for us. We still has misunderstanding on the turn direction after the dog-walk causing loss of time and then i was very late on the flick cue, that also caused a huge turn. But besides than ugly lines and time loss we managed the course without faults. Clean run and first place.
