Lulu & Minnie

In the beginning of February, we celebrated 1 year anniversary of Minnie arriving to home! For that I looked 1 year old videos and made little video to share: Now Minnie is a big girl already.  With her best friend Lulu!  Minnie is spending lot of time in training: Some moments from the february trainings: And in our slalom training we started to remove the helping arcs: And 10 days later: Handling: I feel insecure about "in" command - so I am doing some extra sessions for it...(literally 3 minutes) Still regularly doing the dog walk: Minnie is still protesting against my Monday meetings..entertained with the destruction of scissors...   Friends holding paws to celebrate the Valentine day! Minnie had her agility competition debut at home turf (Vastse-Kuuste) in 22.02.25 in an unofficial beginners class. Judge was Jaanika Lillenberg.  We had 2 courses: First course was dsq. Second course was successful - clean run. First place! I was very happy because Minnie was perfect, she was not bothered with all the other dogs around!

Minnie likes to sleep on top of something/someone :)   This year has been unusually warm so far, but in the beginning of the month some snow finally arrived. So we had a had little weekend trip to Wagenküll (without the doggos): Then a lot of snow for 2 days: Minnie has been training well - current slalom: From January we started an extra agility handling class, 2x per month until May. Here is video from the first time. It was also first time for Minnie to do a 22 obstacle course. She was very happy to run! First training, 7.01.2025: Second training of the month, 31.01.2025: She is perfect! And so is Lulu: Generally, doggos are not misbehaving at the house. But one morning, while i was busy with the online meeting, Minnie managed to get a magic marker and she destroyed it and coloured the carpet - also shredded plastic bags...she had very busy morning :) 

In the beginning of November we took part third agility seminar with Minnie (first was in September and second was 1 week before the third one). Already at the second seminar (held by Stefanie Semkat), we did with Minnie longer sequencies than ever before (11 obstacles). I found the seminar very good and useful. Worked on command like "in". Minnie worked like gold! Fantastic! Week later we were at Peter Holmberg handling seminar,  worked mostly on rear crossing, the command that she have been working only 2 weeks. And it worked so nicely! I was ecstatic. This time I managed to have a video. Very first time a full course (21 obstacles).       At home they need to be where everyone are :) I got a home laser for Lulu, so now she can have regular treatments for her knees.  Sleeping together: They got sniffing ball for Christmas: Minnie had her first Christmas party and Santa visit, at first she was very suspicious, but later she was good enough to sleep: O...

 In the beginning of November Pärli had a lucky accident, but still had to spend time in hospital and then was in home. Lulu of course made sure that Pärli is okay! One evening it was purple sky!!! After Minnie's last dog show I cut her hair and we did a little photoshoot :) And then we had first snow!! 24.11.2024 MINNIE GOT 1 YEAR OLD!! For birthday she got doggo cake but also a jacket and some toys :) Lazy times: Actually Minnie has been doing well in the agility trainings, here is a little clip from different trainings in November 

In november we had planned Minnie's last dog show. I cannot say that she will never go to any dog show, but it is not planned in near future for sure.  1. day. 09.11.2024. Judge Hildeward Hoenderken, NL Minnie was such a good pooch! Although it was super clouded and busy in the exhibition hall. She has perfect contact with me.  Judge was quite critical: "11 months old, very ood type, needs better outline & constuction??, nice head, scissor bite, needs better neck, body is still not there, moves loose in front, coat should be better." Result Very Good . There was 2 other junior females there and this judge did not gibe best of junior out, it is not so often you see that.  2. day. 10.11.2024. Judge Anca Giura, RO This time we found place for us among the danish doggies :)  We did some obedience exercises as we waited. She was such a perfection!!
