The next day of the obedience competition, we drove to Zaķumuiža, Latvia, to the agility competition. The judge was Anastassia Tamm. Competition started with an unofficial open agility course and then continued with official grade 2 two agility courses.
Open agility. Difficult was more like an easy grade 3. I was especially worried about a tricky combination where you had to pull the dog from one tunnel away just before another tunnel. I managed to do it a bit too well :) positioned myself too far from the jump (just in case she is not coming), but she came very well, and then I was in a bad position, so she took the jump straight, not behind - DSQ. After that, the see-saw was beautiful, and then I was a sloppy handler, because I had already earned DSQ.
1st agility course. Tricky was the dog-walk. Before and after were jumps from behind. And I pushed Minnie completely out of the correct line after the dog-walk, which made her take the behind of the far obstacle. What a good dog :) So DSQ.
2nd agility course. This time I managed it all well, and we got a clean run with 4.96 m/sec speed, and 1st place! No video because the phone memory card got full :)
The price ceremony was held only for the 2 courses combined, and we got 2nd place.
