Agility competition, 27.09.25

2 weeks after the long agility weekend in Sweden we participated in "our home turf" in Vastse-Kuuste. Judge Marko Visse. It was our 6th official competition (we also had 2 unofficial competition at grade 0 and then the last competition, IPAC, was actually unofficial one).  This time the goal was to get clean run in agility to get to the next grade.  This time it started with agility courses. First course, dog walk was not pretty, no fault. We got a refusal from slalom entry - I called Minnie in the fear that she will go for a jump, and she came to me soo nicely! And did not see slalom. Nevertheless, we got 1st place.  Second agility run. I did not managed to blind cross after the first tunnel - plan B - rear cross and then send it to the slalom...risk that I didnt want to take. But my perfect girl got the entry! And the course ended with perfect dog-walk! So this was our second clean run - that means we are good to go to grade 2!  Then jumping course, everythi...

International Poodle Agility Championships, 12-14.09.25

Already before Minnie was competing, I registered her to the International Poodle Agility Championships (IPAC), because this year it was in Sweden that is quite close to us. Minnie started to compete in agility courses only 2 months prior to IPAC (3 competitions), the first 2 competitions were quite unsuccessful (all agility runs were DSQ and the contacts were raw (dont want to say bad)), so all august we did not compete but I was focused on the contacts. The week before IPAC competition in Viljandi was the main test. And boy! I was very happy to get a clean run with beautiful contacts on agility course there. So I had hope for IPAC. Anyway, I still went with a lots of doubts there, the goal was to get a clean run (may from jumping course?)! I was also very nervous about the team event - I was lucky enough that Minnie was invited to a team - all the three other team members were already level 3 runners. For the individual finals there  was 4 tickets for the Level 1 competitor...
